If you’re familiar with New England pizza lore , you’ve probably heard of Frank Pepe’s Pizzeria Napoletana .

But did you know the iconic restaurant is bringing its pizza to The Big E for the first time ever – but only for a few days.

Frank Pepe’s will be setting up at the Connecticut Building at The Big E from Tuesday, Sept. 16, to Thursday, Sept. 18, to serve its famous New Haven-style pizza at the fair.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of Frank Pepe’s, which got its start in New Haven. In recent years, the restaurant has expanded and now has 17 locations across seven states. That includes three locations in Massachusetts: Chestnut Hill, Burlington and Watertown.
