Colby Sharpe with Harmony Education, a remote learning service out of Utah, asked for confirmation from Corvallis Superintendent Pete Joseph if this district was the first in Montana to utilize their services.
“Founding father of the program in Montana right here — Father Pete,” Sharpe said to laughter during an August school board meeting.
Harmony Education is a remote learning option for students and families in 12 schools in Montana, with several in the Bitterroot, and tries to offer “flexibility and choice” for families who choose to homeschool — which an increasing number of families in Montana are doing.
