CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) -- A Conway woman pleaded guilty and was given the maximum sentence for two sexual assaults, the 15th Circuit Solicitor's Office said Wednesday.
Lisha Ann Smith, 36, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct. Circuit Court Judge Michael G. Nettles sentenced her to 20 years in prison for each assault, the maximum penalty allowed by law.
Smith is not eligible for parole, according to the solicitor's office, and she must register as a sex offender upon her release from prison.
