FAIRVIEW PARK, Ohio -- The Stanford Avenue sewer project has begun in Fairview Park.

The project will run from West 210th Street to Elmore Road, with work scheduled in three phases: water main installation (now through November), sewer replacement (January through April) and pavement and sidewalk restoration (April through July).

Crews will be working from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Road closures and detours are expected.

One eastbound lane will remain open with detours during the Stanford Avenue/Elmore Avenue intersection closure.

During the winter shutdown, Stanford Avenue will operate as a two-way street.

Overnight parking will be allowed on Elmore Road, West 204th Street, Eastwood Road and Belvidere Avenue throughout the project.
