SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Two Springfield police officers are featured in the latest season of "A Body in the Basement," a true-crime series on Investigation Discovery.

The new episode, which aired on Tuesday, September 9, documents the arrest of convicted serial killer Stewart Weldon, a case that drew national attention in 2018.

Springfield police officers Daniel Moynahan and Joseph Levesque appear in Season 2, Episode 4 of the program, which recounts Weldon's arrest and the grim investigation that followed. The case drew national attention when police discovered the bodies of three women in and around Weldon's Springfield home following a traffic stop that led to his arrest.
