SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The Hope Center for the Arts in Springfield is launching its fall season with free after-school sessions and a series of performances, continuing its mission to provide art enrichment in the community.
The center, founded by Bob Bolduc and his wife, has transformed the old City Stage Theatre into a $15 million state-of-the-art facility. This summer, it hosted a free four-week program that attracted 150 children, surpassing expectations and prompting the addition of more activities for the fall.
"We want to encourage all students in the area from the city to sign up for our fall program, which starts in 10 days, to learn the arts and grow, but also to experience the arts," Bolduc said.
