EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) - Kelly Phillips was honored as the 2025 Distinguished Citizen by the East Longmeadow Lions Club at a special recognition dinner held Wednesday evening.

Phillips, a longtime special education teacher, was recognized for her contributions to the community, including running adaptive Zumba classes that help people of all abilities.

"I am delighted, honored, and totally humbled by this amazing award that the Lions Club is honoring me with and just overwhelmed by it, really," said Kelly Phillips during the event.
