Mayo have turned to legendary defender and former dual star Keith Higgins to manage the next generation following his appointment as the county’s U-20 football boss.

County board delegates tonight ratified the four-time All-Star on a two-year term as the new U-20 football manager in the wake of Peadar Gardiner’s departure. He will have former Mayo footballers Kevin McLoughlin and David Drake along with Kilmeena’s Mark Ryan as his selectors.
