NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Music City will be the site of auditions for the upcoming season of ‘American Idol.’
The popular singing competition show will film auditions for its 24th season at Belmont University, according to a press release from the school. Students will also be invited to sit in the audience for some tapings.
A spokesperson for the university said that the filming dates will be announced at a later date.
The show is also offering students and graduates of Belmont an exclusive virtual audition day on September 23. Virtual auditions are held with show producers live on Zoom, the American Idol website says .
