A man has been arrested by Northern Irish police in Glasgow in connection with an alleged drug import.
The 41-year-old was arrested in the city on September 10 and has since been transported to Northern Ireland.
Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s (PSNI) Organised Crime Branch arrested the man with assistance from Police Scotland , a PSNI spokesperson confirmed.
He was arrested on suspicion of fraudulently importing a class B controlled drug, conspiracy to supply a class B controlled drug and being concerned in the supply of a class B controlled drug, reports Glasgow Live.
He was transported across the Irish Sea by PSNI’s Cross Border Arrest and Transit Team. PSNI said he is now in custody and assisting police with their enquiries.
Detective
