London police believe three shootings within three weeks last month are linked as investigators released new details about incidents that left two men with injuries.

Det.-Sgt. Micah Bourdeau, head of the major crimes section, said they are linked to “ongoing criminal activities that are under investigation by our detectives.”

There were six cases of gunfire in London in August, bringing the tally of shootings to 16 this year, up from 14 in all of 2024.

On Wednesday, police held a news conference to address the surge in gun violence and outline what they are doing to combat it.

“We’re at a stage in a number of these investigations where we can share updates with the public and reinforce that we will leave no stone unturned in bringing those responsible . . . to account,” Bourdeau said.
