It’s the man’s daily reminder of a broken shoulder he sustained during a basketball game while he was in custody waiting to deal with the criminal matters.

“It kind of healed odd,” he said in the Superior Court of Justice in London, where he pleaded guilty to aggravated assault on Wednesday during the testimony about violent conditions at the Elgin-Middlesex Detention Centre.
