WATFORD CITY, N.D. (KUMV) - The courts sentenced a Watford City man to one and a half years in prison for a string of thefts last year.

Tadan Defoe took a plea agreement, pleading guilty Wednesday to eight theft felonies.

Prosecutors say Defoe stole several vehicles, trailers and construction equipment last December.

As part of the plea deal, five charges were dropped, including possessing and manufacturing meth.
