A section of the Northern Distributor Road has been closed after a truck crash on Thursday morning.

Emergency services were called just after 3am on September 11 to the roundabout at Ophir Road.

A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance Service said the driver of the truck a man in his 30s, was treated for stomach and shoulder injuries and were transported to Orange Hospital.

As of 8.30am, Live Traffic NSW indicated that traffic is being diverted from the section of the Northern Distributor coming off the Mitchell Highway.

Multiple tow trucks are on the scene to assist in the removal of the truck.

NSW Police have been contacted for further comment.
