NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -With more than 20 Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention centers, Texas leads the nation in the number of such facilities. Following the recent opening of the so-called Louisiana Lockup at Angola Prison, Louisiana is second. There are now 8 holding facilities, and one staging area dedicated to ICE detainees in Louisiana.
