PHILIPPI, W.Va. (WV News) — A long history of providing education to prospective nurses is set to continue in Barbour County.
On Wednesday, West Virginia Wesleyan College celebrated the announcement of their new physician assistant (PA) program, which will be located in Myers Hall on the former Alderson Broaddus University campus, now known as Battler's Knob.
This program is an important step in generating more PAs for the state, Wesleyan President James Moore said.
"This is a huge day for West Virginia Wesleyan College, it's a huge day for the state of West Virginia and it's an incredibly important step forward in the quest to provide our region with more physician assistants."
