WYANDOT COUNTY, Ohio — A Millbury man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in Wyandot County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 2 p.m. on U.S. 23 in Crane Township.

OSHP said Jacob Belsky, 29, was traveling north on U.S. 23 when he "failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead" and struck the rear end of a semi-truck that was slowing for traffic ahead.

Belsky was pronounced dead at the scene. According to OSHP, drugs and alcohol are not suspected factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
