JEFFERSONVILLE, Indiana — Jeffersonville police have made four arrests in connection with a July 5 shooting that left a 28-year-old man wounded, police said.

on July 5, police were dispatched at 11:42 p.m. to the Presidential Place and Washington Way area after an OnStar notification was reported with possible injury.

Jeffersonville police said the call was later updated to a shooting, and investigators say the victim, William Brown, 28, was shot and crashed into a tree while trying to flee the shooter.

Officers found a "suspicious person" on foot and identified him as Zachary Jackson, 22, police said.

Detectives say evidence collected at the scene implicated Jackson as the shooter.
