DULUTH — From kayaks to canoes, blankets to the beach, lawn chairs to even the lake, hundreds took advantage of a calm Tuesday evening along Lake Superior to take in some tunes at the final Concerts on the Pier event of the year at Glensheen Mansion.
This year marks the 10-year celebration of the popular series.
Big Wave Dave and the Ripples headlined with Born Too Late opening. Concerts in the series are scheduled at the mansion for Wednesdays during the summer, but the performers took the stage Tuesday night for a makeup concert originally scheduled for July 23, but postponed due to rain.
