PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University (WSU) football fans will now be able to purchase alcohol at football games.

The Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board approved a pilot program that will allow alcohol sales at football games at its meeting on Wednesday morning.

The University and vendor Aramark are teaming up for a one-year pilot program that would allow the sale of beer and wine at concession stands in the general seating area of Martin Stadium.

People will be able to purchase up to two drinks per transaction, and staff will check IDs before sales. All alcoholic drinks will be served in clear plastic cups.
