A federal indictment accuses an alleged Albuquerque supplier of attempting to distribute several illicit drugs.

Jose Garcia is facing two charges of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and heroin. He was described as a Mexican national who was unlawfully staying in the U.S.

A search warrant for an apartment in northeast Albuquerque led law enforcement to find Garcia inside. It ended with more than eight kilograms of fentanyl pills, more than four kilograms of heroin, and about 35 grams of methamphetamine being discovered.
