THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) -- President Donald J. Trump is expected to attend the New York Yankees game on Thursday, September 11, as they face the Detroit Tigers, according to a social media post by the baseball team.

"Pregame ceremonies will recognize the victims and heroes of 9/11," read the post.

Ticketed guests are strongly urged to arrive early if possible and should allow extra time for entry as enhanced security measures will be in place at the game, officials said.

Thursday marks the 24th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks.
