President Donald Trump will attend a New York Yankees game Thursday evening in the Bronx to recognize the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, the team announced Wednesday evening.

Trump will attend the game at Yankee Stadium against the Detroit Tigers, the Yankees said in a news release..

Pregame ceremonies will honor both "the victims and heroes of 9/11," the team said.

Ticket holders are encouraged to arrive to the stadium "as early as possible and should budget extra time for entry due to enhanced security measures at all Yankee Stadium gates and entrances," the announcement on X reads. Gates open at 4 p.m. with first pitch at 7:05 p.m.
