Volunteers line streets of Willard, Mo., with American flags ahead of 9/11

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - More than 3,000 American flags line Willard in memory of those lost on 9/11.

Two families started the tradition in 2003, and it has since grown. Willard’s Chamber of Commerce operates the tradition now.

This year, those volunteers included the Willard High School baseball team and Navy JROTC.
