LEBANON, N.H. (ABC22/FOX44) - Two cities in our area have committed to participate in a program to "expand the supply of housing in communities across the country."
Lebanon, N.H. as well as Plattsburgh, N.Y. were chosen among 16 communities across the country, which was launched by the National League of Cities and the American Planning Association.
Lebanon and Plattsburgh officials, over the next 18 months, will receive training, apply lessons while governing their communities, and keep track of their progress in implementing solutions for housing supply challenges.
"When residents have safe, attainable housing, the benefits are apparent... Although localities are not impacted equally, every city, town, and village, from urban to rural, is negatively impacted by the housing crisis," wr
