Students at the University of Alabama held a candlelight vigil Wednesday night following the shooting death of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk .
According to Yellowhammer News , students at the university gathered at 7:30 p.m. on campus to pray and mourn Kirk’s passing.
Kirk, CEO of the conservative organization Turning Point USA, was shot in the neck while speaking at a speaking event at Utah Valley University Wednesday afternoon.
Kirk, 31, was confirmed dead in a post by President Donald Trump later on social media.
