(KBTX) - The last time the Aggies and Fighting Irish played a home-and-home, the weather seemed to play a factor in the Aggies’ win at Kyle Field in 2001. At least, according to former Notre Dame offensive lineman, now Brazos Christian head football coach Jordan Black.

“Obviously, it’s a loud environment to play in when you play down here,” Brazos Christian head coach Jordan Black said about when his Fighting Irish played in College Station. “And the heat, man, it was early in the season, and we definitely, coming from South Bend, weren’t prepared for the heat.”

The temperatures in South Bend this Saturday will be similar to those in College Station . While the weather shouldn’t be a factor, as it was for Black and the Fighting Irish back in 2001, the magnitude of this ranked matchup c
