ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

The New Mexico higher education department has announced the annual pathways to college and career day at the New Mexico state fair.

Career day, which was held on Wednesday, gave students the opportunity to meet and talk with college and trade school recruiters.

Exhibits included the Bureau of Land Management's erosion trailer display and solar energy. Booths from education departments from higher institutions across the state were also present during the fair to provide resources to those who needed it.
