The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division on Wednesday released a redacted report detailing the chaotic events surrounding a deadly April 26 officer-involved shooting on N. Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach.
The 40-page report concludes that Myrtle Beach Police Officer Brandon O’Rourke shot and killed 18-year-old Jerrius Davis of Bennettsville after Davis fired four shots from a 40 caliber Taurus handgun into a crowd that included multiple people from Marlboro County.
Two juvenile victims and their families claim they were on Ocean Boulevard that night and were shot by O'Rourke.
