The North Bay Battalion is embracing a lot of change this season after a down year last year.

The Battalion have plenty of new faces to take a look at during their three-week-long pre-season journey of practices and a busy game schedule.

Two more tune-up games come this week when North Bay plays in Sudbury Friday night, then hosts Owen Sound at Boart Longyear Memorial Gardens in a Saturday afternoon contest versus the Attack.

The Battalion need to boost their offence as North Bay ranked 19th out of 20 Ontario Hockey League teams in scoring, averaging a hair over three goals a game.

Head coach Ryan Oulahen, treading carefully, thinks the new talent should help with goal scoring.
