BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - No arrests are expected in the accidental shooting death of 3-year-old Emouri Woodard, according to Baton Rouge Police.

Police said the child, who lived with his mother and grandparents, got hold of a loaded gun inside the home last week and fatally shot himself.

“At this time, BRPD has not arrested anyone relative to the child shooting. BRPD, at this time, does not anticipate making an arrest due to circumstances surrounding the shooting incident,” police said in a statement.
