SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The shooting death of conservative activist, author, and media personality, Charlie Kirk has shocked the nation.

Kirk, the co-founder of Turning Point USA, was killed at a political event at Utah Valley University after being shot Wednesday (Sept. 10).

A big question is how someone could come onto a college campus with a gun to carry out the assassination, according to the Associated Press.

“A lot of college campuses don’t like to provide security, and they do not want to take on that responsibility. They don’t want to spend the money. So, in this situation here with the 2,000 plus students, the university didn’t have the security.”
