State officials warn of 'Phantom Hacker' scam

ALBANY — New York state residents are being warned about a scam targeting senior citizens.

The scam gives scammers access to people’s bank and retirement accounts. It’s known as the “Phantom Hacker,” and usually occurs in three phases.
