OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A hit-and-run crash almost took the lives of two people and four horses. The animals are well known in Omaha and their owner is offering a reward to help find the driver who drove away.

Near 11th and Howard Streets in the Old Market, Flynn is known for pulling a carriage around. But two weeks ago, the draft horse and three others took a frightening ride.

“These guys all got tossed around in the back like it was a tumble dryer,” said Greg Queal, carriage driver.

Horses inside a trailer pulled by a pickup got t-boned by a hit-and-run driver on North 30th Street while heading back to the stable for the night.

“My worst fear going through my mind, what’s happening with the horse, where did it hit,” said Shelli McGregor, a passenger.
