BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- Student Movie Nights are returning to Sidewalk Film Center starting on Thursday, Sept. 11.

Sidewalk's Student Movie Nights are open to the public, but students can get discounted tickets with a valid student ID. This event kicks off Thursday with a showing of "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World."

The screening will start at 6 p.m., but guests can enjoy board games, free play on the Wii and a social hour in the theater's lobby starting at 5 p.m.

Student Movie Nights will be held on the second Thursday of every month.
