Already facing a multitude of backlash from former players on the NBA’s new TV deal, commissioner Adam Silver is again in the midst of the spotlight for his nonchalance regarding Kawhi Leonard’s $28 million endorsement scandal.

The league has begun investigating the matter since the controversy went public. Surprisingly, the progress has remained slow, which irked many fans. Unlike previous investigations the NBA has conducted on lesser-known players, which immediately garnered swift verdicts, the issue surrounding Leonard has been slow-moving. Although Adam Silver has released a statement on the situation, not everybody was pleased.
