A vehicle being hauled along Route 322 west in Dauphin County on Wednesday fell off a trailer, overturned and came to a rest on the median, according to PennDOT and first responders.

The crash was first reported at 6:45 p.m. near the exit for PA 225 North — Halifax/Dauphin, PennDOT said.

PennDOT cameras in the area showed debris scattered across both sides of the highway.

It is unclear if anyone was injured as a result of the crash.

Cars in both directions of the highway were seen going around the crash on the shoulders. Firetrucks and police responded to both sides of the highway.

PennDOT listed 9:45 p.m. as the time it anticipates having everything cleared.
