(KFVS) - Our weather will be hot and mainly dry for the next several days.
Brian Alworth says highs this afternoon will be in the low 90s, and will creep into the 90-95 range Friday through Monday.
Light, northerly flow will keep dew points/humidity from getting too high, thankfully.
Currently, it looks like our afternoon dew point temperatures will be right around 60 for the next few days, which means that by definition, the “heat index” will be about the same as the actual air temperature. Typically, in mid-summer, the heat index is higher than the air temperature.
