The 17-year-old gymnast recently capped off another successful season, one that saw him graduate into the senior category to take on the best of the best in trampoline, tumbling and double mini trampoline, the latter his specialty. Article content Article content
“When you’re in senior, it’s a way harder game. It’s much more difficult to place well if you’re just doing something that you can land consistently,” Bloom says.
In junior, Bloom was stymied by a difficulty cap that limited his ability to perform more complex skills in competition.
“I can add more flips and twists than I was before, making each trick more difficult,” he says.
