After playing junior football for the Regina Thunder in the Canadian Junior Football League’s Prairie Football Conference, Ferland joined the Saskatchewan Roughriders as a territorial junior in 2019. Article content Article content

While spending that year on Saskatchewan’s practice roster, Ferland was named a PFC all-star for the fourth straight year while also being named the top lineman in the conference.

Two years later, he was running out of the tunnel as a starting offensive lineman in the CFL and since then, he’s become a mainstay on the Roughriders offensive line, starting at guard, tackle and centre, while being named Saskatchewan’s top offensive lineman for three straight seasons.
