(WKBN) -- The U.S. Coast Guard's Marine Safety Unit in Pittsburgh has been called out to assess a situation with a sunken barge in the Ohio River.

The barge is located around mile 45 of the Ohio River, between West Virginia and Columbiana County, Ohio.

At this time, the environmental impacts are unknown. The Coast Guard is working to determine how the incident occurred and how much damage was caused.

Video of the barge could be seen from WKBN's weather camera in East Liverpool.
