JOPLIN, Mo. (KY3) - A recently retired Missouri Lottery player in Joplin uncovered a $5 million top prize on a “$250 Million Extravaganza.” And he already has plans for how to use his winnings.
He purchased the winning ticket at Stop N Shop, 2307 W. 7th St., in Joplin.
“I put most of it in my investments, but I want to take my grandkids on a trip,” he shared.
To date, players have won more than $35.6 million in prizes in the “$250 Million Extravaganza ” game, with more than $231.3 million in prizes yet to be claimed, including two additional top prizes of $5 million, three $1 million second-tier prizes and 44 prizes of $50,000.
