Nationwide Building Society has provided an update regarding when its next bonus offer will be announced. The statement came after someone asked a question via social media. The person queried: "Are you currently offering the incentive to switch banks/current accounts? Not currently a customer but looking to switch soon."

The organisation recently provided some complimentary cash this year with a £200 switch offer, which was available for existing members. You could get the funds when transferring to either a FlexDirect, FlexAccount or FlexPlus account.

The building society also distributed bonus payments to its faithful members this year in the latest instalment of its Fairer Share Payment. This included a £100 payment distributed in June and July to approximately four million members,
