PINEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An Ohio woman has been convicted of forging a public document following a traffic stop in Wyoming County.
Wyoming County Prosecuting Attorney Derek Laxton announced that Myaira Harding, 21, of Akron, Ohio, pled guilty on September 10, 2025, to the felony offense of Forgery of a Public Document.
She is scheduled to be sentenced on November 5 in Wyoming County Circuit Court, where she faces a possible prison term of two to ten years.
The case stems from an August 16, 2025, traffic stop in the Lynco area. Cpl. Tucker Cook of the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office, who led the investigation, reported that Harding provided a false name during her arrest on an unrelated charge.
She later signed the false name on official court documents.
