With COVID cases already spiking and the new vaccine rolling out, confusion abounds, but one Bay Area health care provider is clearing things up for its patients.

Americans have been receiving different guidance from various federal agencies about COVID vaccine eligibility. But Kaiser Permanente has announced that all patients in its network 6 months and older can get the new vaccine at no cost.

In a news release, the health care provider says its administration of the vaccine is "based on the latest scientific evidence and clinical guidance from our physician experts and many other sources, including medical societies."
