Regional gas prices rose for the second consecutive week and reached an average of $3.22 per gallon of regular fuel on Monday, up from last week's price of $3.15 per gallon, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
The average fuel price in the Central Atlantic region rose about 10 cents since last month. According to the EIA, gas prices across the region in the last year have been as low as $3.05 on June 9, 2025, and as high as $3.29 on Sep. 9, 2024.
A year ago, the average gas price in the Central Atlantic region was 2% higher at $3.29 per gallon.
