When Rhode Island passed a law in August of 2024 legalizing accessory dwelling units on homeowners' property, it opened the door — literally — to more affordable housing solutions. And Joseph Pagnani, Kyle Seyboth and the rest of the team at Tiny Homes of New England, were ready to build those doors.

Tiny Homes of New England began work on this new ADU (left) that sits on a lot with an existing rental home (right) just after the new law on ADUs was passed in August of 2024; each home faces a different street, giving the ADU the feel of a standalone house. A fence will be added between the two properties for added privacy.
