Cracker Barrel is going back on planned renovations, two weeks after announcing their logo change would not move forward.
“We heard clearly that the modern remodel design does not reflect what you love about Cracker Barrel,” the company said in a statement .
The restaurant chain planned to renovate its 660 locations to a more modern look, but ultimately only four locations were renovated before the plans to continue were scrapped.
This decision comes after the chain had received backlash for its new logo proposal, which removed the Uncle Herschel character from its branding.
Customers were quick to vocalize their opposition for the new logo which ultimately led Cracker Barrel to reverse the decision .
The plans to modernize Cracker Barrel’s dining rooms met similar backlash.
