A 17-year-old boy was killed and five other people were hurt Thursday after a shooting outside an apartment complex in Tampa, according to the police department.
Authorities said they responded to a 911 call about a shooting shortly after 1 a.m. in the 6000 block of Woodville Street, NBC affiliate WFLA reported.
Officers found three victims at the scene: a 21-year-old man, 19-year-old man and 17-year-old boy.
The teenager was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but did not survive. His name was not immediately released.
The other two victims were taken to the hospital with injuries that were described as not life-threatening, according to police.
