MARNE, MI - Being the first to do something is always special. Being the first to do something at a place that’s been around for over three-quarters of a century...it means something more.

That is something Josh Frye is looking to do this Saturday night at Berlin Raceway.

In the first 74 years of the track in Marne, no driver has ever won more than a single track championship in one season. The driver from Coopersville is looking to change that.

Heading into Berlin’s Chet Championship Night, Frye sits atop the standings in both the Limited Late Model and Sportsman series. He has the opportunity to do something that track legends such as Bob Senneker, Fred Campbell, Johnny Benson Sr. and Jr. could not do, and that’s win two Berlin titles in the same year.
